"Pulling Down Strong Holds and Building Up Relationships" (2 Co. 10:3-8)
The purpose of the Trustee Board, under the general direction of the church, is to serve as legal representatives of the church in all transactions. They hold legal title to the church property, sign all documents relating to the purchase, sale, mortgage or rental of church property after approval by the church in regular business meetings. The trustees are the custodians of the church papers and property but can only exercise the power vested in them by a vote of the church.
In 1930, the first chairman of the Trustee Board was selected, Mr. C. D. Ashford. In 1953 Mr. Henry Eskridge was selected as Chairman. Presently Bro. James Hutchins serves as Chairman of the Trustee Board.
