The Mothers-Deaconess Board

"Pulling Down Strong Holds and Building Up Relationships" (2 Co. 10:3-8)

The Mothers Board was organized to serve the church in the capacity of preparing the communion and assisting the candidates at baptism. The Board also assumes the role of counseling and advising and being a role model for the church as a whole. Since the duties of the Deaconess Board was similar to the Mother's Board, these two organizations were combined by Rev. Gaines in 1979. Mrs. Ethel Robinson serves as President of the Mothers-Deaconess Board.
